This gene belongs to the forkhead family of transcription factors which are characterized by a distinct forkhead domain. The specific function of this gene has not yet been determined; however, it may play a role in myogenic growth and differentiation. Translocation of this gene with PAX3 has been associated with alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma.\n \nApplications:\nSuitable for use ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n \nRecommended Dilutions:\nELISA: 1:128,000. \nWestern Blot: 1-3ug/ml. A 60-65kD band observed in Human Umbilical Cord lysates\nOther applications have not been tested\n \nRecommended Positive Control:\nHuman Umbilical Cord lysate\n \nStorage and Stability:\n\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.\n
