Slit-2 is thought to act as molecular guidance cue in cellular migration, and its function appears to be mediated by interaction with roundabout homolog (ROBO) receptors. It is a secreted protein known for its role of repulsion in axon guidance and neuronal migration that can also inhibit leukocyte chemotaxis induced by chemotactic factors. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1000 Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 4-8ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
